Over the past few decades, due to important social progress, women have entered the workplace in large numbers and have gained unprecedented economic independence.

While this social progress is to be lauded, the unfortunate reality is that women in the workplace are still far too often the targets of sexual harassment and abuse. Fortunately, because of the MeToo movement and similar social movements, our society has become more acutely aware of the prevalence of sexual harassment in the workplace.

Sexual harassment in the workplace comes in a variety of different forms, including but not limited to, unwanted requests for dates, sexual advances, and lewd conversations about sex.

It is important that you know that sexual harassment is always unlawful,
